VisitEngland has launched a new Guide to Destination Management Planning. It is aimed at organisations with responsibilities for tourism development such as destination management organisations, local authorities, private sector, tourism associations and heritage bodies. The guide is a key output of the Destination Management Action Plan, part of the Strategic Framework for Tourism in England 2010-2020, and supports the action plan objective "To share best practice among strategic planners and practitioners to ensure high quality, integrated destination management strategies".
