Congratulations to a UCB team of chef, food service students and of course, their lecturers, who have recently won one of the most prestigious hospitality competitions in the UK - the coveted title of NestlĂ© Toque d’Or Champions 2010, beating off competition from four other UK catering colleges. Each team served a three-course lunch to 100 paying guests at the BBC Good Food Show held at the NEC in June.
The prize is a trip to Lyon for the team in January as guests of NestlĂ© Professional and the College receives £4000 worth of catering equipment from the Savoy Trust - fantastic! More...
